Many users with adblockers are noticing that YouTube videos are skipping to the end automatically. This appears to be part of YouTube’s enforcement against adblockers, which began last year. Previously, YouTube displayed messages prompting users to disable adblockers, blocking videos if ignored. Now, videos skip to the end or endlessly load when adblockers are active. Disabling the adblocker resolves the issue. While some think this is a deliberate move by YouTube, it could also be a bug in the AdBlock extension. Other adblockers don’t seem to have this problem, and reports of the issue without an adblocker are minimal.
