Apple makes its self repair diagnostic tool available in Europe

Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair Diagnostics software to 32 European countries, with Canada soon to follow. This tool, previously available only in the US, helps diagnose and troubleshoot issues on Apple devices using a second Apple device. It guides users through the process with on-screen prompts and identifies any broken components and the necessary parts for repair. This is useful for both individuals and unlicensed repair shops, as it confirms issues and allows repairs with genuine Apple parts. The tool supports iPhones, Macs, and Studio displays, and is available in 33 countries and 24 languages. The Self Service Repair program provides access to genuine parts, tools, and manuals for 42 Apple products, including the latest MacBook Airs with M3 chips.
