OnePlus’s cheapest phone gets major display and battery upgrades

OnePlus is launching the budget-friendly Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, featuring a larger battery and faster charging. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, it offers 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and microSD expandability. Upgrades include a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 50MP primary camera with OIS. The phone has a 5,500mAh battery in India (5,100mAh in the EU) with 80W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. Running on Oxygen OS 14 (Android 14), it promises two Android updates and three years of security updates. Prices start at Rs. 19,999 (~$240) in India, €329 in the EU, and £299 in the UK, with various pre-order bonuses and discounts available.
