Apple is set to announce the integration of Google Gemini with its devices this fall, alongside the already confirmed ChatGPT, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. Rumors suggest a possible deal with Anthropic as well, but Meta’s Llama chatbot was rejected for not meeting quality standards. Apple plans to introduce its own AI system, Apple Intelligence, in beta this fall, aiming for direct profits through potential subscription features. Initially available only for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, Apple Intelligence might not immediately drive significant upgrades. Meanwhile, Apple will profit from in-app purchases related to its AI partners’ chatbot subscriptions.
