Apple is reportedly considering a plastic design for the next-generation Apple Watch SE, currently made of aluminum, to reduce costs. This change could lower its starting price from $249, making it more competitive with Samsung’s $199 watch. The new design would replace the current “nylon composite” back case introduced in 2022.
