Samsung released Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7

Last month, Samsung announced the affordable Galaxy Watch FE. Today, they unveiled the $299.99 Galaxy Watch 7 and the $649.99 Galaxy Watch Ultra. The Ultra, designed for outdoor athletes, replaces the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and closely resembles Apple’s Watch Ultra in both name and design.

Key Features of Galaxy Watch Ultra:

  • Durability: 10ATM water resistance, IP68 rating, titanium case, sapphire crystal lens.
  • Design: New orange Quick Button for shortcuts and a lug system for straps.
  • Display: 3,000 nits brightness and dual-frequency GPS.
  • New Functions: Night Mode, 85dB emergency siren, multisport profile, and Functional Threshold Power for cyclists.
  • Battery Life: Up to 100 hours in power-saving mode and 48 hours of exercise.
  • Health Tracking: Improved BioActive Sensor with new AGEs Index for biological aging.

Galaxy Watch 7 Updates:

  • Design: Minor changes with new strap colors.
  • Hardware: Wear OS 5, One UI 6 Watch, 3nm Exynos W1000 chip, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage.
  • Features: FDA De Novo clearance for sleep apnea detection, upgraded heart rate, EKG, and body composition analysis.

Both watches also include Galaxy AI-powered features like Energy Score and Wellness Tips. The Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra are available for preorder today and will be generally available on July 24.
