China is set to ban the sale of 15W wireless chargers, including Apple’s MagSafe and Qi2 charging pads, starting September 1. The ban targets devices operating at a 360kHz frequency, which is outside the newly allowed range by the Chinese government. The regulations aim to prevent radio interference and maintain order in airwaves. While the sale of these chargers will be prohibited, existing chargers purchased before the ban can still be used.
