Apple AirPods 4 still coming this fall in two new variants

Apple is expected to release two new AirPods 4 models next month, according to Mark Gurman. These will replace the current AirPods 2 and 3. The entry-level model will replace AirPods 2, while the mid-tier model will replace AirPods 3. Both will have similar designs, but the mid-tier version will feature active noise cancellation, unlike the entry-level version. Both are likely to switch to USB-C, with the mid-tier model supporting wireless charging. The AirPods Pro 3 update is not expected until later. Apple’s branding for these new models is still unknown.
