Apple may work on slimmer iPhone 17 model

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to introduce a slim “iPhone 17 Air” next year, positioned between the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro. This model will have a smaller display, thinner chassis, and reduced camera features, targeting users who want a stylish phone without the high-end specs of a Pro model. Gurman expects this model to perform better than previous “mini” and “Plus” models. Looking ahead, Apple may eventually fit Pro features into this slim design, possibly by 2027. Gurman also hints at future foldable iPhones and iPads, with the foldable iPad potentially arriving first. Additionally, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to launch in early 2025 with a bigger OLED display and Apple Intelligence features.
