Geekbench released an AI benchmark

Geekbench has launched a new cross-platform tool called Geekbench AI to evaluate device performance under AI-heavy workloads. The tool measures a device’s CPU, GPU, and NPU capabilities, focusing on how well it handles machine learning tasks. Originally previewed as Geekbench ML in 2021, the tool supports frameworks like ONNX, CoreML, TensorFlow Lite, and OpenVINO. It provides three scores—full precision, half precision, and quantized—along with accuracy measurements. Available on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS, Geekbench AI is designed to assess real-world AI tasks such as predictive text and generative AI-enabled image editing.
