Apple has released public beta 3 for iOS 18, featuring changes from the recent developer beta. Key updates include a refined Photos app, now without the carousel design, showing more of your library upfront and placing the Albums section higher. Recent Days now includes recently saved images. Safari introduces a Distraction Control feature to hide bothersome content with a fun ‘Thanos snap’ animation. There are also UI tweaks like new dark mode icons for Maps and Find My, refreshed Control Center icons, and easier Home Screen page editing. Expect weekly beta releases with fewer changes and more stability improvements leading up to iOS 18’s public launch in September.
