Realme is rumored to be developing a 300W wired charging solution for smartphones, joining the ranks of other Chinese manufacturers like Redmi, which announced similar technology in early 2023. Despite Redmi’s claim that their system could fully charge a 4,100 mAh battery in under five minutes, no device has yet utilized this technology. Realme’s announcement may also be a showcase without immediate device implementation. Currently, Realme’s highest charging capability is 240W, featured in the GT5 and GT Neo 5. Additionally, the upcoming Realme GT7 Pro is expected to have an IP69 rating and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
