Samsung is rumored to release a new foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, before the end of the year. Leaked details suggest it will be slimmer than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, measuring 10.6mm thick when folded, compared to the Z Fold 6’s 12.1mm. The device will have an 8-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover display, matching the Z Fold 6’s dimensions. The Special Edition is rumored to be “superior in nearly every category” and may be priced at around $2,000, potentially upsetting current Z Fold 6 owners. It might launch in South Korea on September 25 and could be limited to China and South Korea.
