Apple is facing a class-action lawsuit in four European countries, filed by Euroconsumers, over claims that its 30% App Store fee is causing music streaming services like Spotify and YouTube Music to raise prices for consumers. The suit alleges that iOS users are paying up to €3 more to cover these fees, leading to €259 million in “unfair profits” for Apple. The lawsuit seeks compensation for over 500,000 affected users in Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
