Google’s Pixel 9 series introduced new camera and editing features, including Auto Frame and Reimagine. Auto Frame adjusts the subject’s framing using AI, while Reimagine lets users change backgrounds. An APK teardown of the Google Photos app suggests that these features may soon come to older Pixel phones, including the Pixel 6, 7, and 8 series. However, these features are not yet available for non-Pixel devices. It’s expected that Google will release them for older Pixel models in a future Feature Drop.
