Microsoft launches a Windows app for iPhones and Android devices

Microsoft has launched a new Windows app for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android, web browsers, and Windows PCs. The app serves as a hub for streaming Windows from sources like Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Remote Desktop. It supports multi-monitor setups, USB redirection, and is customizable. However, it’s limited to Microsoft work and school accounts, with no plans for consumer account support. The app aligns with Microsoft’s long-term goal of moving Windows to the cloud. It’s available on the Microsoft Store, Apple’s App Store, and Android’s public preview.
