Samsung released Galaxy S24 FE – from 649 USD

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S24 FE, continuing the FE series but moving away from the “Fan Edition” name. The S24 FE closely resembles the Galaxy S24 Plus in design, sharing the same 6.7-inch display and 120Hz refresh rate but offering a lower 1080p resolution. While it features durable materials and retains a similar camera setup to the S23 FE, the most notable change is its switch to the Exynos 2400e processor globally, replacing the Snapdragon versions traditionally used in the US. This shift might disappoint Samsung enthusiasts, known for favoring Snapdragon chips.

With a starting price of $649, the S24 FE is positioned as a more affordable option than its flagship counterparts, but it’s still quite similar to the previous Galaxy S23 FE, which can be found at a comparable price. Overall, while the Galaxy S24 FE is a solid offering, it may not appeal strongly to Samsung fans who desire a flagship experience at a lower cost.
