Snap has launched its fifth-generation Snapchat Spectacles with augmented reality (AR) capabilities. These glasses feature a bulky design with two Snapdragon processors, four cameras, and a see-through AR display powered by micro-projectors. Users can mirror their phone screens to the glasses and control them using hand gestures or voice commands. However, the battery life is limited to 45 minutes of continuous use. The new Spectacles are not for general consumers but available through Snap’s Spectacles Developer Program for $99 a month.
