Motorola has surprised many by rolling out the Android 15 beta to some of its phones, including the Edge 50 Fusion, even before Samsung’s One UI 7 beta has been released. This is a notable shift for Motorola, which only recently began promising five years of OS updates with the launch of its Edge 50 lineup. The Android 15 update package for the Edge 50 Fusion is 1.8 GB (version V1UUI35H.6) and other Edge 50 models like the Edge 50 Pro may also be receiving it. While Samsung’s One UI 7 beta is expected later this year, Motorola has taken a lead in the update race.
