OnePlus has halted phone sales in Germany again due to a patent dispute with InterDigital, which holds key mobile communication patents, including 5G. This follows a previous halt in Germany due to a legal issue with Nokia that was resolved earlier this year.
Currently, only OnePlus phones are affected; other devices like the OnePlus Pad 2 and OnePlus Watch 2 are still available. OnePlus is seeking a peaceful resolution but is also facing similar legal battles with InterDigital in the UK, India, China, and Spain. The timing is unfortunate as the company is preparing to launch its new flagship, the OnePlus 13.
