Apple has postponed plans to release a more affordable version of the Apple Vision headset until after 2025, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Originally intended to launch next year with lower-cost materials and simpler features, the cheaper headset aimed to make spatial computing more accessible. However, Apple now believes a $2,000 model may not broaden visionOS’s appeal. Meanwhile, Apple still plans to release an updated Vision Pro with the M5 chip and Apple Intelligence support next year.
