Poker cheats are using modified smartphone cameras

Smartphone-based cheating in poker has surfaced, involving modified phone cameras with tiny mirrors to peek at cards on the table. The camera, discreetly placed in objects like a phone or charger, captures slivers of cards and an accomplice remotely relays the information via a hidden earpiece. This method exploits dealer card-handling techniques, prompting casinos to retrain dealers and adjust card placement to counteract such tactics. Despite these measures, new cheating methods are likely to emerge.
