Motorola has updated its budget Moto G lineup for 2025, featuring the Moto G Power ($299.99) and the Moto G ($199.99). The standout is the Moto G Power, boasting an IP69 water-resistance rating, surpassing most flagship phones, and MIL-STD-810H certification for rugged durability. It withstands water jets, dust, falls, extreme temperatures and high humidity, all in a slim 9mm design with a 6.8-inch Gorilla Glass 5 display, 5,000mAh battery, wireless charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Moto G offers similar performance with the same MediaTek chipset and a 50MP camera but features a smaller 6.7-inch display, Gorilla Glass 3 and IP52 protection.
Both models launch with the Moto G available January 30th and the G Power on February 6th, with availability through major carriers later. Motorola aims to improve software after prior issues with excessive bloatware.
