OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Gov, a secure AI chatbot for U.S. government agencies, offering access to models like GPT-4o. Hosted on Microsoft Azure, it ensures security and privacy compliance while enabling agencies to handle sensitive data. It includes features from ChatGPT Enterprise, such as shared workspaces and custom GPTs. OpenAI is also collaborating with the UK government on an AI chatbot for UK.gov. Since 2024, over 90,000 users across 3,500 U.S. government agencies have exchanged 18 million messages using ChatGPT.
