OpenAI’s ChatGPT is now accessible via phone and WhatsApp, offering new options for users with limited internet access. In the US and Canada, users can call 1-800-CHATGPT for up to 15 minutes of ChatGPT access per month. Globally, the same number works for texting ChatGPT on WhatsApp. While WhatsApp integration currently doesn’t support paid perks for Plus and Pro users, OpenAI plans to expand its capabilities, potentially including AI-generated images. These features are especially useful for those with dumbphones, poor network coverage or limited data plans.
