Apple has removed non-compliant apps from the EU App Store following new Digital Services Act (DSA) regulations requiring developers to disclose their address, phone number and email. As of February 18, apps without this “trader status” have been taken down and won’t be reinstated until verified. The change has affected nearly 135,000 apps, particularly smaller developers who previously avoided sharing personal contact details. Many have turned to virtual offices and phone numbers for privacy. The required information is now displayed in the EU App Store under app details.
