Google is fixing an annoying issue with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Google is addressing magnetic case interference on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold with a new “robust open/close detection” setting in Android 16 Beta 2. This helps prevent hinge sensor disruptions caused by magnets. However, enabling it without a case may increase battery drain. It’s unclear if this fix will extend to other Android foldables.
