Apple has announced the iPhone 16e, featuring the A18 chip, a 6.1-inch OLED display, a 48MP camera, Face ID and a USB-C port. Unlike the iPhone 16, the 16e has a binned A18 chip with a 4-core GPU (one less than the iPhone 16). This means slightly lower graphics performance but no noticeable difference for most users. The phone also includes Apple’s first custom 5G modem for better efficiency. Pre-orders start on February 21, with shipments beginning February 28. Pricing starts at $599 for 128GB, with 256GB and 512GB options in black and white.
