MediaTek has announced its new mid-range and budget-focused smartphone chips: the Dimensity 7400, 7400X and 6400. Prioritizing efficiency, the 7400 series boasts 36% lower power consumption and improved AI performance, enhancing camera and gaming capabilities. The 7400X also supports secondary screens for foldables. Both 7400 models feature octa-core setups with Cortex-A78 and A55 cores, while the budget-friendly 6400 uses Cortex-A76 and A55 cores on a 6nm process. No specific phones have been confirmed yet, but more details should emerge soon.
