MyFitnessPal will add AI for meal planning

MyFitnessPal is expanding beyond calorie tracking by integrating meal planning through its acquisition of Intent. The new Meal Planner feature will use AI to personalize meal plans, streamline meal logging, create grocery lists and enable easy ingredient ordering. These features will be available in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Meal Planner launches this spring but will require a Premium Plus membership ($99.99/year). Existing Intent users can continue using the app until April 2026 before needing to switch to MyFitnessPal.
