The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 brings major upgrades to budget Android phones, including an 11% CPU boost and 29% better GPU performance over its predecessor. It features a modern octa-core setup, improved gaming tech like Game Super Resolution and 12% power savings.
AI capabilities also get a boost with an NPU for on-device tasks like content summarization and email drafting. Camera support improves to 64MP with multi-frame processing, 4K HDR video and 144Hz FHD+ displays. Other features include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E and a 5G modem with 2.9Gbps speeds.
Phones from OPPO, realme and HONOR will launch with this chip in the coming months.
