Apple hit with lawsuit over false advertising

Apple is facing a federal lawsuit over alleged false advertising and unfair competition after delaying its “more personalized Siri” feature from Apple Intelligence. The lawsuit claims Apple misled consumers by heavily promoting AI features like Genmoji and Image Playground, creating false expectations for iPhone 16 buyers. Although Apple pulled some ads and added disclaimers, the lawsuit argues it hasn’t done enough to correct its messaging. Filed in San Jose by Clarkson Law Firm, which has also sued Google and OpenAI, the suit seeks damages for affected consumers.
