Apple is preparing a major software overhaul across iPhones, iPads and Macs, aiming for a more unified and seamless experience. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this redesign – set to debut with iOS 19, iPadOS 19 and macOS 16 – will introduce updated icons, menus, apps and system controls, marking the biggest iPhone software revamp since iOS 7. The goal is to enhance usability and ecosystem integration, areas where Android has struggled. Apple hopes this “breakthrough interface” will boost device demand, but how effectively it executes these changes remains to be seen. More details will be revealed at WWDC in June.
