Google has introduced a new Gemini-powered feature that lets users add events to Google Calendar directly from Gmail. When Gemini detects calendar-related content in an email, an “Add to calendar” button will appear, allowing quick event creation via the side panel. The feature is currently available only in English on Gmail’s web version and excludes auto-extracted events like flight or restaurant reservations. It’s rolling out now through mid-April for Google Workspace Business, Enterprise, Gemini Education and Google One AI Premium subscribers.
