Google is testing a full AI Mode for Search, expanding on AI Overviews. A beta version of the Google app (16.9.39.sa.arm64) reveals a new interface with AI Mode replacing Voice Search and Lens in the Search bar. Users can interact via text, voice or Google Lens, which now supports photo uploads for AI-powered searches. The AI generates detailed responses with linked sources. While not yet publicly available, its release seems imminent.
