Nvidia is dominating the AI revolution, making $2,300 in profit every second. Its data center business now surpasses gaming GPUs, and it’s pushing ahead with new AI chips to maintain its lead.
The Blackwell Ultra GB300, shipping later this year, brings 20 petaflops of AI performance and increased memory but isn’t a new architecture. The Vera Rubin (2026) will boost performance to 50 petaflops, while the Rubin Ultra (2027) will double that to 100 petaflops with 1TB of memory.
Nvidia has already shipped $11 billion in Blackwell chips, with top buyers purchasing 1.8 million units in 2025. CEO Jensen Huang says AI demand is skyrocketing and the next architecture, Feynman, is set for 2028.
