Verizon’s satellite messaging service is now available for Google Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 users at no extra cost. The feature lets users send and receive texts via satellite when out of cellular range.
Unlike Apple’s SOS or T-Mobile’s Starlink service, Verizon’s option works across any network or device. The company is also working with AST SpaceMobile to expand satellite capabilities. The rollout begins today and will continue over the next two weeks.
