Apple might expand in Brazil to avoid high tariffs

Apple plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Brazil to avoid high tariffs on Chinese and Indian imports imposed by the Trump Administration. The move would help reduce costs by leveraging Brazil’s lower 10% import tax. Apple has already assembled iPhones 13–15 in Brazil and aims to include the iPhone 16 Pro in local production, with potential exports to the U.S. to bypass hefty tariffs.
