Google Pixel may get new lock screen design

Google is testing a cleaner lock screen layout for Pixel phones in Android 16 Beta 4, improving the placement of the At a Glance widget. The update moves date and weather details below or beside the clock, depending on its position, and separates additional info to reduce clutter. While not enabled by default, the new layout is fully functional if manually activated. It’s part of Google’s broader effort to declutter the lock screen, though it’s unclear if it will appear in the final Android 16 release.
