During Apple’s earnings call, CEO Tim Cook detailed the $900 million cost impact of current U.S. and Chinese tariffs for the June quarter. He noted that most iPhones sold in the U.S. will originate from India, while iPads, Macs, Apple Watches and AirPods will largely come from Vietnam. China remains the main source for international sales. Although some tariffs have sharply increased – particularly on AppleCare and accessories – most of Apple’s core products are not currently affected by the newest global tariffs. Cook emphasized this estimate is specific to the June quarter and may not reflect future impacts.
