Apple users in the U.S. can now apply for a share of a $95 million settlement related to unintended Siri recordings. The payout stems from a class action lawsuit over Siri capturing private conversations without consent between September 17, 2014, and December 31, 2024. Eligible users can claim up to $20 per device (up to five devices) by submitting a sworn statement. Applications are open until July 2, 2025, and anyone who believes they’re eligible can apply, even without a claim notice.
