Apple has launched CarPlay Ultra, its next-gen in-car system, starting with new Aston Martin models in the US and Canada, with more brands like Hyundai, Kia and Genesis to follow. CarPlay Ultra enhances the experience with support for all driver screens, customizable gauges and widgets powered by iPhone. It also lets users control radio and climate via touchscreen, physical buttons or Siri. Compatible with iPhone 12 or newer running iOS 18.5 or later, the update will roll out to more supported vehicles soon.
