Fortnite is back on the iOS App Store in the US, nearly five years after being removed due to a payment system dispute. The return follows a court ruling in the Epic Games v. Apple case, which now allows third-party payments without Apple taking a cut.
Epic and Apple resolved recent submission issues, and Fortnite is also available via the Epic Games Store and AltStore. The iOS version features a 20% Epic Rewards bonus when using Epic’s payment system. A new Star Wars-themed season is also live. Note: the app requires a large download (approx. 12.95GB) after installation.
