Leica’s Lux iPhone app now features “Artist Looks,” starting with a black-and-white filter inspired by photographer Greg Williams and Kodak Tri-X film. The effect adds a warm, vintage tone and is available to Lux Pro subscribers ($6.99/month or $69.99/year) or with Leica’s $625 phone grip. The update brings a new creative approach by mimicking pro photographers’ styles. Leica’s Fotos app also supports the Greg Williams look for newer cameras or via JPG uploads – free for Leica users. This marks Leica’s first collaboration of its kind, adding a unique twist to mobile photo editing.
