Meta is adding two new accessibility features to its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses to support blind and low vision users. In the US and Canada, users can now enable “detailed responses” from Meta AI for richer environmental descriptions. Meta also announced the global rollout of its “Call a Volunteer” feature, letting users connect with sighted volunteers for real-time help via the glasses’ camera. Both features aim to enhance everyday independence and will expand to more regions in the future.
