Google is officially replacing Assistant with Gemini AI in Android Auto and Android Automotive, with Volvo being the first automaker to adopt it. Volvo cars with Google built-in will get Gemini integration later this year, allowing natural conversations with the AI. As part of an expanded partnership, Volvo will also become the reference hardware for Android Automotive development, giving its vehicles early access to new features and updates.
