Google’s first Android 16 QPR1 beta is out, bringing Material 3 Expressive design updates and a major Pixel Launcher improvement. The At a Glance widget is now smaller on both the home and lock screens, freeing up space for more apps and widgets. While users still can’t remove it entirely, the reduced size offers a better compromise. This update also sets the stage for upcoming lock screen widget support in Android 16.
