Apple’s foldable iPhone project is expected to kick off in late Q3 or early Q4 2025, with a launch planned for late 2026. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, most component specs are still unfinalized, except for the display, which is being developed with Samsung to avoid visible creases. The device may feature a 7.8-inch inner and 5.5-inch outer display, with a titanium-steel hinge and a folded thickness of 9.5mm. Foxconn will handle assembly, with full production starting in 2026.
