The Fairphone Gen 6 has launched, continuing the brand’s focus on repairability, sustainability and longevity. It features 12 replaceable parts, new modular accessories, and a customizable “Moments” hardware switch for minimalist mode. Specs include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage (with microSD support), a 6.31″ 120Hz OLED display and a 4,415mAh removable battery. Camera hardware sees a slight downgrade from the Fairphone 5. It runs Android 15 and promises at least six OS updates and security patches until 2033. Priced at €599 in Europe, it will launch in the U.S. in August via Murena for $899.
