Google is now testing AI Mode in the Chrome browser, following its earlier rollout in the Google app. In the Canary version of Chrome, the AI Mode button appears in the New Tab search box, allowing users to ask questions and receive AI-generated responses. Access requires meeting certain criteria; otherwise, users are directed to a support page. This adds another way to use Google’s AI-powered search, alongside the Google app and google.com/aimode.
